Pouch Filling to Carton Packing in One Flow
The line begins with a premade pouch or form-fill-seal machine that fills and seals product into flexible pouches. Sealed pouches discharge onto a collection conveyor equipped with a metal detector and checkweigher for quality verification. Accepted pouches are then collated into groups matching your carton configuration and transferred to the cartoning station. The cartoner erects, loads, and seals cartons automatically, with a coding unit applying date and batch information before discharge.
Handling Different Pouch and Carton Formats
Pouch size changeover is achieved through adjustable sealing jaws and pouch guides, typically within 30 to 60 minutes. Carton size adjustment uses motorized or manual handwheel positioning depending on model. The line accepts stand-up pouches, flat pouches, and three-side seal pouches. Carton formats include standard RSC, display cartons, and tray-with-lid styles.
Quality Control Integration
A checkweigher verifies each pouch against target weight, rejecting underfills and overfills. A metal detector screens for ferrous, non-ferrous, and stainless steel contaminants. Rejected pouches are diverted to a locked reject bin. The carton sealing station monitors seal temperature and pressure, with alarm and auto-stop on deviation.
Construction and Support
Product-contact surfaces use SUS304 stainless steel. Central PLC control with touchscreen HMI displays line status, reject counts, and production totals. Factory testing before shipment verifies synchronization. Delivery includes layout drawings, utility requirements, and operation manuals. Remote and on-site commissioning support available.
